cleaned raw shrimp

7-ounce package frozen Chinese pea pods

sliced green onion

clove garlic, minced

monosodium glutamate

ground ginger

cornstarch

sugar

salt

cold water

soy sauce

Method :
  1. Heat oil in heavy skillet till hot; add shrimp; toss and cook quickly till pink, 3-5 minutes.

  2. Add pea pods, onion, garlic, monosodium glutamate, and ginger; toss and cook over high heat for 1 minute.

  3. Combine remaining ingredients.

  4. Pour over shrimp mixture; toss and cook till thick and bubbly, about 1 minute.

  5. Pass soy sauces.

Serves 2
