Hot and Spicy Squid Seafood Recipe

Ingredients :

Grind ingredients to paste:

margarine

squid, approximately 250 gm, cleaned and sliced

onion, sliced into rings

tamarind juice

roasted groundnuts for garnishing

sugar to taste

 

shallots

dried chilies

shrimp paste

onions, slice into rings

Method :
  1. Poach squid in boiled water for 5 minutes.

  2. Remove and sauté briskly in some oil.

  3. Set aside.

  4. Heat margarine and fry onion.

  5. Add paste ingredient and continue to fry.

  6. Add sautéed squid and mix well.

  7. Stir in tamarind juice, and add sugar to taste.

  8. Allow to simmer for 10 more minutes.

  9. Remove and garnish with roasted groundnuts.

  10. Ready to serve.

Serves 3-4
