Mussels Au Gratin Recipes

mussels, cleaned

chopped fresh basil

freshly grated parmesan cheese

butter, melted

stale breadcrumbs

cloves garlic, crushed

Method :

Combine mussels and 1 cup water in a saucepan, bring to the boil, cook mussels until shells open, about 3 minutes. Remove mussels from water, open shells, discard top shell and loosen mussel meat in shell. In a small bowl, combine remaining ingredients, top each mussel with a tablespoon of mixture. Grill for 5 minutes until toppings are golden.
