Pounded or blend together
shallots, garlic, ginger, fresh turmeric and prawn paste until fine. Add the pounded chilies. Heat some oil in a frying pan and
fry the pounded ingredients until fragrant. Add the lemon grass and sliced
Bombay onions. Put in the tamarind juice, sugar
and salt. Lastly put in the prawns and cook
for 10 minutes or until the prawns are cooked. Serve hot with rice.
