Beef and Radish Soup Recipes

Ingredients :

300 g




1 teaspoon

1 tablespoon

2 teaspoons


Chinese radish


star anise


soy sauce

chopped spring onions


Method :
  1. Clean and cut the beef into cubes.
  2. Halve the radish lengthwise and cut each half diagonally into 3 cm pieces.
  3. Place the beef, radish, peppercorns and star anise with 6 cups water in saucepan and bring to boil.
  4. Lower the heat and simmer for 11/2 hours.
  5. Season with salt, soy sauce and pepper and serve garnished with spring onions.

Serves 4 - 6
