Prawn Ball Soup Recipes

Ingredients :

250 g


1 tablespoon


1 liter




fresh prawns, shelled and minced

chicken breasts

corn flour

egg white, beaten

chicken stock

small tin button mushrooms, sliced

tin bamboo shoots, sliced

shallots, chopped

salt and pepper to taste

Method :
  1. Season the minced prawns with salt and pepper.

  2. Add in the corn flour and beaten egg white.

  3. Mix well and shape into tiny balls, using a teaspoon.

  4. Boil the breasts in the chicken stock.

  5. Reduce heat and simmer.

  6. Put the prawn balls into the simmering stock at a few time and cook for 5 minutes.

  7. Add in the sliced mushrooms and bamboo shoots.

  8. Simmer for another 5 minutes.

  9. Serve hot garnished with chopped shallots.

Serves 4 - 6
