Steak Jamaican Recipes

Ingredients :

6 tbsp honey

1/3 cup freshly squeezed lime juice

2 tbsp vegetable oil

2 tbsp prepared mustard

2 garlic cloves, minced

1 tsp grated lime zest

1/2 tbsp salt

1/2 tsp coarsely ground black pepper

2 pounds lean top round steak

Lime wedges

Method :

In a small bowl, whisk together all ingredients except the steak and lime wedges. Score the steak across the top and place in a shallow baking pan. Pour the marinade over the steak; turn to coat all sides. Refrigerate 6-8 hours, turning occasionally.

Remove the steak from the refrigerator 30 minutes before cooking. Preheat the broiler. Broil the steak 4-6" from the heat source for 3 minutes per side for medium rare, or continue to cook to desired doneness. Slice thin on the diagonal. Serve with lime wedges.
