Spareribs With Sour Plums Recipes

Ingredients :

375 g

3 sour plums

1 tbsp slated yellow bean paste

1/2 tsp grated garlic

1/2 tsp grated shallot

pinch of shredded red chili

Chinese parsley

 

Marinade :

1 1/4 tsp oil

1 1/4 light soy sauce

1 1/4 sugar

1 1/4 caltrop starch

1/4 tsp wine

1/2 ginger juice

pinch of pepper

Method :

Rinse sour plums, remove pits and finely chop. Mix with salted yellow bean paste, garlic and shallot. Stir fry the mixture over low heat until fragrant. Allow to cool, wash spareribs and cut into long strips. Marinate for at least 1 hour. Arrange spareribs on a plate. Pour prepared sour plum mixture on top. Steam over high heat for 10 minutes. Add red chili and Chinese parsley. Steam for 1 minute more, serve hot.
