Thai Steak Salad Recipes

Ingredients :

1 garlic clove, minced

2 tbsp fresh lemon juice

2 tbsp rice wine vinegar

3 tbsp minced fresh mint leaves

2 tbsp minced fresh lemon balm leaves

2 tbsp fish sauce

2 tsp sugar

1 fresh green chili, seeded and sliced (wear rubber gloves)

6 tbsp peanut oil

1 lb sirloin steak, cut 1-inch thick

1 tbsp soy sauce

1 red bell pepper, peeled and cut in strips

6 cherry tomatoes

3 green onions, thinly sliced

3 cup mixed salad greens

Method :

Mix together first 9 ingredients to make salad dressing and refrigerate. Rub sirloin steak with soy sauce, then broil until cooked to your liking. Set steaks aside to cool for 5 minutes. Meanwhile, toss vegetables with some of the salad dressing, then arrange salad on a large platter. Slice steak thinly, arrange decoratively on top of salad, then pour two or three spoonful of dressing over steak.

Serves 4-6
