Quail Wrapped In Lettuce Vietnamese Recipes

quail meat


fish sauce

vegetable oil

minced garlic

minced fresh root ginger

chopped spring onion

chopped Chinese mushrooms, soaked

chopped water chestnuts

chopped preserved vegetables

oyster sauce


fresh mint

coriander leaves

Spicy Fish Sauce

Method :

Mix quail meat with salt, pepper, sugar and fish sauce. Have the ingredients marinate for 25 minutes. Pour the oil to a wok. Stir fry meat, garlic and ginger for 2 minutes. Cook together with spring onion, mushrooms, water chestnuts and preserved vegetables. Mix well, cook with oyster sauce. Put 2 tbsp of mixture in a lettuce leaf. Roll up the lettuce leaf with fresh mint and coriander. Roll the lettuce leaf tightly and pack. Ready to serve. You may serve with spicy fish sauce to spice this dish.
