Stir Fried Vegetables Recipes
clove garlic, chopped
chopped fresh root ginger
baby sweet corn, halved
young leeks, sliced
bok choy, cut into small pieces
sesame oil (optional)
salt and freshly ground black pepper
Heat oil in a wok or frying pan and
stir fry garlic and ginger for about 30 seconds.
Add carrot, baby sweet corn, leeks,
bok choy, and mange tout and stir fry for about 2 minutes.
Add bean sprouts and continue stir
frying for 1 minute.
Add salt, pepper and soy sauce and
stir fry for a further 2 minutes.
Mix corn flour with 1 tablespoon
water and stir into gravy to thicken it.
Finally blend in sesame oil, if
using, then serve vegetables hot or cold.
Fish or oyster sauce can be used instead
of soy sauce for non-vegetarians.
