Vietnamese Dipping Sauce (Nuoc Cham) Recipes

Ingredients :

1-2 small red chilies, seeded and finely chopped

1 clove garlic, crushed

1 tsp roasted peanuts

4 tbsp coconut milk

2 tbsp fish sauce

juice of 1 lime

2 tsp sugar

1 tsp chopped coriander leaves

Method :

Crush the red chili together with the garlic and peanuts using a pestle and mortar or food processor. Add the coconut milk, fish sauce, lime juice, sugar and coriander.

Serve this dip in a small bowl as an accompaniment to spring rolls or meat dishes.

Serves 4-6
