Ham and Prawn Bean Sprouts Recipes

Ingredients :

bean sprouts

sunflower oil

lean ham, trimmed and diced

cooked, peeled large prawns, thawed and dried if frozen

spring onions, finely chopped

green pepper, chopped

light soy sauce

chopped fresh chives, to garnish

salt and freshly ground pepper

Method :
  1. Cook bean sprouts in boiling water for a few seconds or until soft.

  2. Drain and rinse in cold water.

  3. Dry on absorbent kitchen paper.

  4. Heat oil in a wok and stir fry ham, prawns, spring onions and pepper 2 or 3 minutes or until lightly golden.

  5. Add soy sauce, bean sprouts, salt and pepper and stir fry 2 minutes to heat through.

  6. Garnish with chopped chives and serve with rice.

Serves 4
