Braised Duck in Creamy Curry Sauce Recipes

Ingredients :

1/2 duck (about 1.5 kg), cleaned and cut into pieces

4 potatoes, peeled and cut into pieces

Ingredients A :

5 tbsp oil

2 Bombay onions, chopped

2 tbsp curry powder

1 tbsp chopped garlic and shallots

1 tbsp tomato ketchup

Ingredients B :

500ml boiling water

1/2 tsp salt or to taste

1 tsp sugar

1.5 tbsp cornflour

1/2 cup evaporated milk

2 red chilies, sliced

Method :

Put Ingredients A into a big casserole and microwave on High for six minutes uncovered. Stir once at half time. Add duck pieces, mix well and microwave on High for 3 minutes, covered. Mix well. Add potatoes and Ingredients B. Mix well, cover and microwave on High for 5 minutes. Change to Medium-Low and microwave for 25 minutes. Mix the cornflour and milk, stir into dish, add chilies, and microwave for another 1 minute. Mix thoroughly and serve hot.
