Meatball Curry Recipes
fine minced meat
medium onion, finely chopped
clove garlic, crushed
piece fresh ginger, finely grated
fresh red or green chili, seeded and
chopped fresh coriander or mint

Mix the minced meat thoroughly with
all the other ingredients.
Shape into balls.
- Heat ghee in a large heavy
saucepan, brown the meatballs and set aside.
- Using the same oil, fry the
onions, garlic and ginger until soft and golden.
- Add turmeric, garam masala and
- Fry for 1 minute.
- Add tomatoes, salt and meatballs.
- Cover the pan and simmer for 25
minutes or until the gravy is thick and the meatballs soft.

Serves 6 - 8
The meatballs can also be fried and
served with a sauce instead of cooking them in the gravy.
