Pork Chops Hungarian Recipes

Ingredients :

1/8 tsp

1/2 cup

loin pork chops, 3/4-inch thick

small onion, thinly sliced

caraway seed



dried dill weed


dash garlic powder

Method :
  1. Trim fat from chops.

  2. Brown chops in small amount of hot shortening in 8-inch skillet; drain off excess fat.

  3. Combine onion, caraway seed, salt, paprika, dill weed, garlic powder, and water; add to skillet.

  4. Cover and cook over medium heat for 1 hour or till pork chops are tender.

  5. Transfer chops to warm platter.

  6. Stir sour cream into meat drippings in skillet.

  7. Heat through but do not boil.

  8. Spoon sauce over chops.

Serves 2
