Spicy Pork Burger Recipes

Ingredients :

600g pork mince

3/4 cup fresh breadcrumbs

1 clove garlic, crushed

2 red Asian shallots, finely chopped

1 tbsp finely chopped fresh ginger

1 small red chili, seeded and finely chopped

2 tbsp finely chopped fresh parsley

1 tbsp lime juice

1 tsp fish sauce

1 egg, lightly eaten

2 tbsp oil

4 white baps

100g baby spinach leaves

1 telegraph cucumber, cut into ribbons

sweet chili sauce, to serve

Method :
  1. Combine the mince, breadcrumbs, garlic, shallots, ginger, chili, parsley, lime juice, fish sauce and egg in a bowl, season.
  2. Divide into four and shape into patties with floured hands, refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  3. Heat the oil in a frying pan over medium heat and cook the patties for 5-6 minutes each side, or until cooked through and browned. Keep warm.
  4. Split and grill the baps.
  5. Divide the spinach among the rolls and top with the patties.
  6. Pile ribbons of cucumber on top and drizzle with chili sauce.
