Cheese Fondue and Brazil Nut Dip Recipes

Ingredients :

50 g butter or margarine

125 g processed cheese, cut into very thin strips

1 garlic clove, peeled adn crushed

3 drops Tabasco

4 tbsp dry cider

2 tsp cornflour

3 tsp cold water

50 g brazil nuts, fairly finely chopped

Method :
  1. Melt fat and cheese together over low heat.
  2. Stir in garlic, Tabasco, cider and cornflour mixed with cold water.
  3. Heat until mixture just begins to bubble.
  4. Stir in nuts and transfer to bowl.
  5. Serve hot with dunks of small biscuits.

Serves about 8

Note :

A rather unusual hot dip to serve with small, plain, unsweetened biscuits.
