Cream Cheese and Gherkin "Truffles" Recipes

Ingredients :

125 g cream cheese (such as Philadelphia)

1 tbsp soured cream

1 tbsp chopped gherkins

50 g red Cheshire cheese, finely grated

salt and pepper to taste

25 g hazelnuts, finely chopped

Method :
  1. Beat cream cheese smoothly with soured cream.
  2. Stir in gherkins and the Cheshire cheese.
  3. Season to taste with salt and pepper then roll into 12 truffle shapes.
  4. Coat with nuts, spear each with a cocktail stick and refrigerate until firm before serving.
