Steamed Scallops and Mungbean Sheets Recipes

Ingredients :

4 scallops

5 fresh mungbean sheets

2 tsp finely chopped garlic

diced chili

spring onion

2 tsp sesame oil

Seasoning - mixed well

1/2 tbsp light soy sauce

1/2 tsp sugar

1 tsp dark soy sauce

1 tsp sesame oil

Method :
  1. Rinse mungbean sheets with cold boiled water.
  2. Drain.
  3. Cut into thick strips.
  4. Mix with sesame oil.
  5. Transfer to a plate.
  6. Shell scallops.
  7. Remove the innards.
  8. Wash and drain.
  9. Arrange on mungbean sheets.
  10. Add garlic, diced chili and spring onion.
  11. Steam over high heat for 6 minutes.
  12. Pour seasoning onto scallops.
  13. Serve.

Mo yu si, mungbean thread or dong fen can be used instead of mungbean sheets.

Serves 2 - 4
