Dry Beef Curry Recipes

Ingredients :

1000 g



1/2 tsp

3.5 cm



2 tbsp

beef, cut into bite sized pieces

large onions, diced

dried chilies, ground fine

ground fresh ginger

piece cinnamon


tomatoes, quartered


salt to taste


Method :
  1. Heat the ghee in a pan and fry the onions until golden brown.
  2. Add the ground chilies, ginger, cinnamon and cloves and fry well.
  3. Put in the beef and stir well.
  4. Add the tomatoes and enough water to cook.
  5. Simmer the curry until the meat is tender and the gravy dries completely.
  6. Add salt to taste and remove from heat.
  7. Serve as a main dish with rice or bread.
