Pickled Green Tomatoes Recipes

Ingredients :

green tomatoes, cut into quarters

vinegar

water

cloves

brown sugar

Method :
  1. Boil the tomatoes in 2 cups water and one cup vinegar and cloves for 5 minutes.
  2. Then drop into cold water drain.
  3. Boil tomatoes again with remaining 1 cup vinegar and brown sugar until tender.
  4. Cool and store in jars.
  5. Let stand for 2 weeks before serving.

Serves 6 - 8
