Ingredients :

pork (there should be both lean meat and fat), cut into bite sized pieces

cut into bite sized pieces

shallots, sliced

cloves garlic, sliced

tow cheong, mashed

water

thick soy sauce

oil

salt to taste

Method :
  1. Heat oil in a pan and fry onions and garlic till golden.
  2. Add pork and chicken and fry for a few minutes.
  3. Add the preserved bean paste and soy sauce and just enough water to cover and cook meat.
  4. Simmer over low heat till meat is tender.
  5. Add salt to taste and stir well.
  6. Serve hot.

Serves 4 - 6
