Ingredients :

large prawns

thick coconut milk, from 1/2 grated coconut

onions, sliced

mustard seeds

stalks curry leaves

oil

salt to taste

 

Ground Fine

dried chilies

cumin

aniseed

grated coconut

Method :
  1. Heat oil in a pan and fry the mustard seeds till they crackle.
  2. Add curry leaves and sliced onions and fry till golden.
  3. Add ground ingredients and fry till well browned and oil separates.
  4. Add salt to taste and stir well.
  5. Add prawns and thick coconut milk and cook over medium heat till gravy is thick and dry.

Serves 4 - 6
