Prawn Fritters Cooking Recipes

Ingredients :

500 g

350 g

3 tbsp

prawns

plain flour

corn flour

egg whites, beaten until stiff

water

salt to taste

oil for deep frying

Method :
  1. Shell the prawns, leaving tails intact.
  2. Wash and drain well.
  3. Sift flour into a bowl and mix with corn flour.
  4. Make a hole in the center and gradually pour in water to make a thick batter.
  5. Add salt and fold in egg whites gently.
  6. Heat oil.
  7. Dip prawns into batter and fry the prawns until golden.
  8. Serve with lettuce, tomatoes and chili sauce.

Serves 4 - 6
