Fish In Hot Coconut Gravy Recipes

Spanish mackerel

stalks chili (cili padi)

thick coconut milk, extracted from 1 coconut

thin coconut milk, extracted from 1 coconut

shallots, sliced

turmeric leaf

asam gelugur

salt to taste

Method :
  1. Place the pounded ingredients with water in a pan and bring to the boil.
  2. Add in the fish and asam gelugur.
  3. Season to taste with salt.
  4. In a separate pan, heat the oil and fry the sliced shallots.
  5. Pour into the gravy.
  6. Serve hot with plain boiled rice.
