Chicken Jalfrezi Cooking Recipes

Ingredients :

chicken, boneless

onion paste

tomato purée

ginger paste

garlic paste

onion, diced

tomato, diced

capsicum, diced

garam masala

oil for frying

salt to taste

Method :
  1. Cut the chicken into pieces.
  2. Heat oil (1 tbsp) in a wok.
  3. Add onion paste, cook for 5-7 minutes, then add tomato purée and cook for 10-15 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat, set aside.
  5. Marinate the chicken pieces with salt and ginger garlic pastes for 2 hours.
  6. In a separate wok heat oil and add the onion, tomato mixture, add the marinated chicken and stir fry till chicken is cooked.
  7. Serve hot, accompanied by a green salad and Indian bread.
