Fennel Flavored Shrimps Recipes

Ingredients :

12 shrimps, deveined and shelled

fennel (saunf) seeds

10g broiled and pounded

10g garlic, chopped

5 green chilies, deseeded chopped

30g onion paste

30ml lemon juice

salt to taste

fennel (saunf) chopped

100ml cream

100ml yoghurt

5g ginger, chopped

20g butter

Method :
  1. Heat butter in a pan and sauté the chopped fennel for a few seconds.
  2. Add garlic, green chilies and onion paste.
  3. Stir fry for a few minutes.
  4. Mix in all the other ingredients and cook for 5-10 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat.
  6. Place shrimps in oven proof dish, pour the prepared mixture on top.
  7. Cover the dish tightly and cook in a preheated 350F oven for 15-20 minutes.
  8. Remove from the oven.
  9. Transfer into a serving platter and serve immediately accompanied by steamed rice and boondi raita.
