Pomegranate Shrimps Recipes

Ingredients : |
8 shrimps,
(jumbo)
30ml malt
vinegar
salt to
taste
2.5g
yellow chili powder
10g ginger
paste
10g garlic
paste
30g
Cheddar cheese, grated
60g
pickled onions, chopped
10g green
coriander, chopped
5g ginger,
chopped fine
2.5 g
cumin (jeera) seeds
30ml lemon
juice
120g peas,
fresh
2.5g white
pepper powder
45ml
tomato ketchup
240g
pomegranate (anaar dana) seeds, fresh |
Method :
- Remove the heads from the shrimps,
slit, devein and pat dry.
- Mix malt vinegar, salt, yellow
chili powder, ginger and garlic pastes, marinate shrimps in it for
half an hour.
- Place each marinated shrimp on a
separate 10" square piece of greased aluminum foil.
- Boil, drain and crush peas with a
rolling pin.
- Mix together cheese, onion,
coriander, ginger, cumin, lemon juice, peas, white pepper powder,
tomato ketchup and pomegranate seeds.
- Top each shrimp with this mixture.
- Grate some more cheese on each and
wrap up the foil.
- Place the wrapped parcels in a
baking tray and bake in a oven at 350F for 10-12 minutes.
- Serve hot, as a snack, accompanied
by Mint Chutney or as part of the main meal.
