Grilled Chicken (Ayam Panggang) Recipes

Ingredients :

2 tbsp peanut oil

1/3 cup soy sauce

2 tbsp lime juice

2 tbsp lime zest

2 tsp sambal ulek

2 cloves garlic, crushed

1 tbsp palm sugar or brown sugar

8 chicken thigh fillets, trimmed

cooked rice and green vegetables to serve

Method :

Combine oil, soy sauce, lime juice, lime zest, sambal ulek, garlic and sugar. Place chicken in dish. Pour marinade over and leave to marinate in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours. Cook chicken on a barbecue plate for 10-15 minutes, occasionally basting. Serve with cooked rice, green vegetables and sweet chili sauce (on the side).
