Kidney Kebabs

Ingredients : |

rashers streaky bacon
small cooking apples, peeled, cored and
quartered
lamb's kidneys, peeled, halved and cored
pieces whole meal pitta |
Method :

Cut the rind form the bacon, halve
each slice and 'stretch' it by scraping it firmly with the back of a
knife.

Wrap a piece of bacon around each
quarter of apple.

Thread kidney halves and the bacon and
apple rolls on to 4 skewers, starting and ending with kidney.
-
Grill the skewers under medium heat
for about 5 minutes, turning them frequently.
-
Serve each one in a piece of warmed
pitta.
