Stuffed Naan Recipes

Ingredients :

115g minced beef

115g pork sausage meat

5ml mixed dried herbs

15ml brown sauce

4 mini naan breads

60ml mango chutney

salt and fresh ground black pepper

Method :
  1. Place the minced beef in a bowl and break up with a fork.
  2. Add the sausage meat and herbs and season well.
  3. Stir in the brown sauce.
  4. Bring the mixture together with your hands and form into four patties.
  5. Grill under a medium heat for 8 minutes, turning once.
  6. Place the naan breads under a medium grill for 2-3 minutes.
  7. Split with a knife and place the patties and chutney inside.
  8. Serve with a crisp green salad.

Now widely available, naan breads are growing in popularity. Here, individual breads are warmed and split and used as an alternative to a burger bun.
