Stir Fried Lamb with Mint and Chili Recipes

Ingredients :

1 tbsp oil

750g lamb fillet, thinly sliced

4 cloves garlic, finely chopped

2 small fresh red chilies, thinly sliced

80ml oyster sauce

2 1/2 tbsp fish sauce

1 1/2 tsp sugar

25g chopped fresh mint

5g whole fresh mint leaves

Method :
  1. Heat a wok over high heat, add the oil and swirl to coat.
  2. Add the lamb and garlic in batches and stir fry for 1-2 minutes, or until the lamb is almost cooked.
  3. Return all the lamb to the wok.
  4. Stir in the chili, oyster sauce, fish sauce, sugar and the chopped mint leaves, and cook for another 1-2 minutes.
  5. Remove from the heat, fold in the whole mint leaves and serve immediately with rice.

Make sure you slice the lamb across the grain - this will minimize the meat breaking up and shrinking when cooking.

Ready to eat in 20 minutes

Serves 4 - 6
