Rose Flavored Apples Recipes

Ingredients :

Filling:

1/2 cup chopped glace apricots

2 tbsp chopped glace ginger

1/3 cup sultanas

rind of 1 lime, cut into strips

Syrup:

1 cup caster sugar

2 cups water

2 tsp rose water

4 large green apples, halved crossways

Method :

Preheat oven to 180C. Brush a deep ovenproof dish with melted butter or oil. To make Filling: Combine ingredients in medium bowl. To make Syrup: Place sugar, water and rose water in a medium pan, stir over low heat until sugar dissolves. Simmer 4 minutes then pour into prepared dish. Core apples. Place tablespoons of filling into cavity. Place in baking dish, spoon over the syrup. Cover and bake 20 minutes, basting with the syrup occasionally. 5 serve with cream.
