fresh water prawns
coconut milk from 1 grated coconut
dried chilies
peppercorns
shallots
coriander seeds
cumin
piece turmeric
cloves garlic
oil
mint leaves for garnishing
salt to taste
Wash and clean the prawns, trim off the whiskers but leave the shells intact.
Heat oil in a pan and fry the ground ingredients until fragrant.
Add in the coconut milk and bring to the boil.
Add in the prawns, season to taste and simmer until dry.
Dish out and serve garnished with mint leaves.
