Nyonya Fried Rice Recipes

Ingredients :

350 g



4 tbsp

5 tbsp

cooked rice

eggs, beaten

large onion, sliced

pounded dried shrimps


salt to taste

shredded lettuce for garnishing

Method :
  1. Heat oil in a pan and fry beaten egg until cooked.
  2. Shred with ladle and push aside.
  3. Fry sliced onion until limp.
  4. Lift out the egg and onion.
  5. Fry the dried shrimps until fragrant.
  6. Add all other ingredients except shredded lettuce and fry well for 3 minutes.
  7. Serve garnished wit shredded lettuce.

Serves 4 - 6

This is a wholesome breakfast dish especially if there is any rice left over from the previous night's meal.
