Stuffed Cuttlefish With Peanut Sauce Cooking Recipes

Ingredients :

Sauce :

pieces cuttlefish, washed and cleaned but left whole

medium prawns, shelled and chopped

sprig parsley, chopped

salt and sugar to taste



groundnuts, roasted and roughly pounded

fresh chilies


stalk lemon grass

piece ginger

cloves garlic

thick coconut milk

tamarind juice

brown sugar


Method :
  1. Season the chopped prawns with salt and pepper.

  2. Mix in the chopped parsley.

  3. Stuff this mixture into the cuttlefish and secure ends with tooth picks.

  4. Heat oil in a pan and fry the ground ingredients and peanuts until fragrant.

  5. Add coconut milk, tamarind juice and brown sugar.

  6. Slowly add in the stuffed cuttlefish and boil until cooked.

Serves 6 - 8
