Method :
Slice ostrich
fillet thickly. Mix in cooking soda and water. Let it sit for 5 minutes
and then stir in the rest of the marinade ingredients. Marinate for 30
minutes. Shred red onion finely. Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a pan. Saute
onion until fragrant. Set aside. Heat 4 tbsp of oil in pan. Pan fry
ostrich until done. Cut into pieces. Boil the sauce for 5 minutes. Put
the ostrich fillet in and mix well. Arrange on a bed of red onion on a
serving plate. Ostrich fillet is available in frozen meat store. Ostrich
is rich in nutrients. Among different types of meat, ostrich has the
highest amount of protein and iron but with the least percentage of fat
and cholesterol.
