Arabian Prawn (Shrimp) Sambal Cooking Recipe

Ingredients :

Grind ingredients to paste:

5 gm

1.5 cm

margarine

prawns, shelled

red chilies, sliced

onions, sliced into rings

tamarind juice

coconut milk from 1/2 coconut

salt and sugar to taste

 

shrimp sauce

shallots

ginger

turmeric

Method :
  1. Heat margarine.

  2. Fry paste ingredient until fragrant.

  3. Add red chilies, onions and tamarind juice.

  4. Stir well.

  5. Add prawns and mix well with fried ingredients.

  6. Pour in coconut milk, and bring to boil for 10-15 minutes.

  7. Season according to taste.

  8. Remove from heat and serve.

Serves 3-4
