Baked Avocado With Crab Recipe

Ingredients :

200 ml


4 tablespoons

225 g

1 teaspoon

1 teaspoon


plain low fat yoghurt

medium eggs

grated Parmesan cheese

crabmeat, flaked

curry powder

tomato paste

avocados, halved and stoned

salt and pepper

Method :
  1. Beat together the yoghurt, eggs, half the cheese, the crabmeat, curry powder and tomato paste and season with salt and pepper.

  2. Pile the mixture into the avocado halves and sprinkle the remaining cheese on top.

  3. Place the pears on a baking sheet.

  4. Bake in the oven at 350oF (180oC), Gas 4 for 20-25 minutes, until the filling is set and crisp on top.

  5. Serve at once, with thinly sliced whole meal bread.
