Dried Cuttlefish In Hot Peanut Sauce Recipes

Ingredients :


1 cup

1 tablespoon

1/2 cup




piece dried cuttlefish, soaked until soft

anchovies, cleaned

tamarind, juice extracted



dried shallots

clove garlic

a small piece of belacan

Method :
  1. Roast the peanuts and pound coarsely.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and stir fry the ground ingredients until fragrant.
  3. Add in the dried cuttlefish and anchovies.
  4. Stir once again.
  5. Put the pounded peanuts into the pan and add in tamarind juice and salt.
  6. Bring it to a boil and when the gravy thickens, add in 1 teaspoon salt.
  7. Remove from the fire and serve with rice.
