Fried Prawns Recipes

Ingredients :

600 g

7 cups




2 tablespoons

fresh prawns


shallots, sliced

cloves garlic, chopped

red chili, sliced thinly

rice wine

salt and pepper to taste

Method :
  1. Cut away the whiskers and legs or the prawns but leave the shells intact.

  2. Remove the sac from the head.

  3. Wash in salt water and drain well.

  4. Heat oil and deep fry the prawns until cooked.

  5. Remove and keep aside.

  6. Pour out the oil from the pan.

  7. Using the same oil coated pan, fry the sliced shallots and garlic until light brown.

  8. Add the chili, rice wine and salt.

  9. Add the fried prawns and mix well together with the other ingredients in the pan.

  10. Add pepper and serve at once.

Serves 4 - 6
