green king prawns, shelled and deveined
freshly squeezed lime juice
clove garlic, crushed
grated ginger
brown sugar
bacon rashers, rind removed
small bamboo skewers, soaked in water |
Method :

Place the prawns in a medium bowl
with the lime juice, garlic, ginger and sugar, mix well.

Cover and refrigerate for 30
minutes.

Cut bacon into strips, about 2cm
in width and wrap around each prawn.

Thread two prawns onto each
skewer.
-
Barbecue over moderate heat for 2
minutes each side or until cooked through.
Serves 4
