Steamed Pomfret Recipes

Ingredients :


2 tablespoons

1 tablespoon

1 teaspoon

1 teaspoon

medium sized white pomfret

thin soy sauce

corn oil

white pepper


Method :
  1. Clean the fish but do not remove tail and fins.

  2. Steam the fish in a steamer over rapidly boiling water until the fish is cooked.

  3. Heat the oil and stir in the thin soy sauce.

  4. Pour the sauce over the steamed fish.

  5. Place the fish on a flat plate and sprinkle with salt and pepper.

  6. Serve hot garnished with shredded spring onions and sliced red chili.

Serves 4 - 6
