Pineapple Pachri Recipes

Ingredients :

almost ripe pineapple

garlic

sugar

shallot, sliced

piece cinnamon

cardamoms

red chilies, deseeded

salt

Method :
  1. Slice the pineapple in rings and remove the core.
  2. Boil it for 5 minutes with 1 teaspoon turmeric powder.
  3. Drain the pineapple slices and put aside.
  4. Heat 2 tablespoons oil and fry the sliced shallots and crushed garlic until fragrant.
  5. Add in 11/2 cups of water.
  6. Add in also pineapple slices and red chilies.
  7. Cook over a low flame and bring to boil.
  8. When boiling add salt and sugar to taste.
  9. You can also add 2 tablespoons vinegar if you desire.

Serves 6 - 8
